Magnetic Flux Leakage Testing for Corrosion of Atmospheric Storage Tanks Bottom Plate

摘要: 结合对多台储罐底板漏磁检测过程中所发现与总结的问题, 从扫查覆盖率的控制、缺陷方向性影响、底板剩磁影响、缺陷单板定位、超声方法复验和底板表面状况影响等六个方面, 对如何做好底板腐蚀漏磁检测工作提出了一些意见和建议。Abstract: The present summary is about the problems encountered during the magnetic flux leaking(MFL) inspecting for many storage tanks. Six issues were discussed in brief including the controlling of the scanning coverage percentage, the directionality effect of defects, the effect of residual magnetism, the defect positioning on single floor, the rechecking cases using ultrasonic method and the effect of surface condition, etc. Some empirical recommendations and conclusions were proposed to promote the MFL inspection work of bottom floor corrosion.
