Ultrasonic Guided Waves Testing of Steel Tube Tower Corrosion

摘要: 利用设计制作的模拟试块和对比试块,对钢管塔腐蚀进行了超声导波检测。通过导波在钢板中的端面传播特性、不同厚度钢管塔检测的探头选择、不同类型缺陷的定位定量,提出了检测工艺,并利用实际试样检测结果对其进行验证。结果表明,超声导波检测方法可用于钢管塔尤其是其埋地部分局部腐蚀的检测,所制订的检测工艺可以检出不小于钢管塔壁厚20%(最小深度2mm)的腐蚀坑。Abstract: Study was made of steel tube tower corrosion inspection by guided waves testing with the simulation and reference test blocks. The testing technology was developed by guided waves propagation character of the end face, probes choice of different tube thickness, and defect location and quantification. The results showed that ultrasonic guided waves testing technique was effective to the corrosion inspection,especially in the underground. The technology may detect the corrosion pit whose thickness was not more than twenty percent of wall thickness (the minimum depth of the corrosion pit was 2mm).
