Phase Distinction in Eddy Current Testing for Steel Tubes

  • 摘要: 钢管在涡流探伤中,过饱和磁化时会出现内外壁缺陷信号相位无法分辨的问题。理论分析及试验表明,钢管涡流探伤存在涡流效应及漏磁效应两种机理,钢管过饱和磁化时由于漏磁效应强于涡流效应,使得缺陷信号相位无法分辨。为使内外壁缺陷信号的相位正常区分,应控制钢管磁化至饱和磁化强度的60%~70%。
    Abstract: In the eddy current testing for steel tubes, the problem that the phases of defect signals could not be distinguished existed when the magnetization intensity of the tubes was oversaturated. Theoretical analysis and experimental results showed that there were two testing mechanisms in the eddy current testing for steel tubes: eddy current effect and magnetic flux leakage effect. When the magnetization intensity of the tubes was oversaturated, the magnetic flux leakage effect was stronger than eddy current effect and was dominant, which made the phases of defect signals could not be distinguished.
