Magnetic powder detection of spot welding tooling scar of “π” shaped pipe

  • 摘要: 通过对撬装设备“π”形管道点焊工装的实施效果进行调查,并对工装焊接部位进行了目视宏观检验和磁粉检测,认为其工装焊疤部位的宏观检查无法发现某些裂纹,而采用磁粉检测方法可发现。“π”形管尺寸越大,工装焊疤部位越容易产生裂纹。建议对标准GB/T20801.4—2020《压力管道规范》的有关内容进行修改,以免在执行过程中产生异议。同时建议选用不伤害管道的非点焊辅助机械支撑工装。
    Abstract: This paper investigated on the implementation effect of point welding tooling on “π” pipe for the prisking equipment, visual macro testing and magnetic particle testing were carried out for the welding parts of the tooling, and found out that the macro inspection of “π” pipe welding scar site cannot detect the defect,but applying magnetic powder detection could find out the defect. The larger the “π”shaped pipe, the easier the weld scar cracks. It was recommended that the GB/T 20801. 4—2020 standard be modified to avoid objection during implementation. It was recommended to choose the non-spot welding auxiliary mechanical support tooling that does not damage the pipeline.
