Abstract: In recent years, as the global energy and environmental issues become more prominent, especially the threat of global warming become especially apparent. Wind power, which represents an environmentally clean and distributed power, has been hailed as the green power. Wind power has become the fastest-growing new type of clean power. To develop and generate electricity with wind farm is the main form of wind energy utlization. Chinas Twelfth Five-Year Plan, including specifically encouraging the development of clean energy including wind, is to speed up the adjustment of energy structure, so wind power for some period of time in the future will be the object to develop. Therefore, the quality work for wind power generation equipment is particularly important, and this paper describes the quality problems of a wind power tower found in nondestructive testing process, and gives a brief analysis of the causes.
