Abstract: Phased Array ultrasonic technology was applied widely in NDT. This technology was based on electronic delay control, and on the superposition and interference principle of ultrasonic wave, forming dynamic scanning beam, eventually forming a scanning image.It was better than conventional method on probability of detection.This paper focused on principles of phased array technology, equipment usage and calibration, introducing several classic applications of some fields using phased array technology.
