Research on Beam Focusing Behavior and Beam Steering Behavior of Ultrasonic Phased Array System

  • 摘要: 文章参照ASTM E2491—2008标准,通过试验测试相控阵探头在不加装楔块以及加装横波斜楔块两种情况下声束在工件中的聚焦特性以及偏转特性。试验变换了激发晶片数量、聚焦深度以及偏转角度等参数设置,研究了这些参数对声束聚焦特性和偏转特性的影响。结果发现,相控阵声束仅能在近场区内聚焦,ASTM E2491—2008标准对角度偏转极限测试实际表征的是某种情况下的角度分辨力。
    Abstract: In this thesis,following ASTM E2491—2008, by experiments,we studied beam focusing behavior and beam steering behavior of ultrasonic phased array system in the case of being with and without a shear wave wedge fixed to the probe. Influence of aperture setting,focusing depth setting and steering angle setting to beam focusing behavior and beam steering behavior are studied by changing different values of these parameters. Then we summarize that,the acoustic beam can only be focused in its near field,the method of determination of phased array beam steering limits offered in ASTM E2491 actually attribute to measure the angle resolution.
