Abstract:
Piezoelectric technology is wildly used in nondestructive testing technology, and especially it also can be used in acousto-optic retro-identification technology. Theoretical analysis and experimental research of a piezoelectric cats eye retro-identification(PCERI) system were carried out. Firstly, an equivalent mathematical model of the cats eye modulating retro-reflector(MRR) was set up, then the influence of the optical indexes to the reflected intensity was calculated, including the distance between the interrogator and the MRR, the focal length of the lens and the detector diameter. Secondly, a PCERI system was built up, by which the transmission and identification of simple information were achieved by experiment. The information transmission speed of PCERI was 600 bit/s, which could meet the requirements of identification.
