Abstract:
Due to the complexity of the structure and stress and the special working environment of LD32-2 PSP storage tank, the tank is susceptible to defects which are difficult to predict in the process of its usage. By analyzing the characteristics of LD32-2 PSP square crude oil tank, designing and prefabricating its defect status, acoustic emission experiment was carried out for various defects and the features of the acoustic emission signals were analyzed. Data of acoustic emission signal during the pressure boosting and maintaining constant periods were obtained respectively, providing references for acoustic emission detection data analysis. By experimental verification, acoustic emission testing technology for offshore platform is feasible for tank test.
