Enhancement of Eddy Current Testing Sizing Capability for Deep Cracks Using Multi-Exciting Coils

  • 摘要: 为了提高深裂纹涡流定量检测能力, 在Janousek等人提出的多线圈激励涡流检测探头的基础上, 通过改变各激励线圈的电流大小和相位, 可以更好地抑制表面涡流, 提高涡流的渗透能力。数值计算结果表明, 改进方法可进一步提高深裂纹涡流定量检测能力。
    Abstract: In order to enhance sizing capability for a deep crack, a modified multiple exciting coil eddy current testing scheme was proposed and studied. Not only the amplitude, but also the phase of the exciting current in the two pairs(four) of exciting coils were adjusted to suppress the eddy currents on the surface of the inspection target. The numerical results revealed that the modified way could give some improvement of sizing capability for deep cracks.
