Pulsed Remote Field Eddy Current Simulation of Double-Casing Pipeline Based on Magnetic Field Measurement

  • 摘要: 脉冲远场涡流检测技术是一种新兴的电磁无损检测技术。该技术在铁磁性管道检测中发挥着重大作用。目前国内外针对脉冲远场涡流的研究多集中于单层管道,而对双层套管的研究尚存不足。笔者基于有限元仿真,对脉冲远场涡流检测机理进行了系统探究,提出了基于磁场测量的双层套管内外管管壁减薄和局部腐蚀缺陷脉冲远场涡流检测和评估方法。研究发现,在套管内远场区不同位置拾取的脉冲远场涡流磁场信号对内外壁减薄和局部腐蚀缺陷的响应灵敏度存在差异,有利于实现内外管管壁减薄和局部腐蚀缺陷的定位和定量评估。
    Abstract: Pulsed remote field eddy current testing (PRFEC) is an emerging electromagnetic nondestructive testing (ENDT) technique, which plays a vital role in noninvasive evaluation of ferromagnetic pipeline. The mechanism of PRFEC and PRFEC of wall-thinning as well as localized corrosion in double-casing pipeline is intensively investigated via finite element analysis (FEA). Based on the study, magnetic-field-measurement-based PRFEC of double-casing pipeline is proposed. It has been found that the PRFEC responses acquired at different positions in the remote-field zone to wall-thinning and localized corrosion in internal and external pipe casings are distinguishing, which benefits the localization and quantitative evaluation of wall-thinning and localized corrosion in double-casing pipeline.
