Abstract:
Superconducting quantum interference devices(SQUIDs) have important potential applications in the field of non-destructive evaluation(NDE) because of theiv high magnetic sensitivity, high bandwidth and high spatial resolution. In recent years, research on SQUID NDE has made rapid progress, which is the foundation of this method used in industry. The research results about SQUID NDE were introduced, including its application field, spatial resolution, noise processing and complex system etc. In the mean time the characteristic of the technology, the existing problems and the development trend of the technology were indicated.
