    SDS-6500R High Frequency Ultrasonic C-Scan Technology and Application

    • 摘要: 介绍了超声波图像可视装置SDS-6500R,及其对缺陷的定性判断原理和定量分析方法。利用该设备,对炼钢厂生产的连铸坯样品(截面为20 mm×20 mm)进行了超声C扫描探伤,并通过金相显微镜观察对探伤结果进行验证。结果表明,使用50 MHz的高频水浸聚焦探头,该设备可以有效探测被检测件中>30 μm的非金属夹杂物等缺陷,将夹杂物和气孔区分开来,而且对缺陷数量的统计结果也比较精确,适用于实验室检测和分析。

       

      Abstract: Qualitative identification of defect type and quantitative identification of the defect size by SDS-6500R ultrasonic testing & imaging system were described for continuously cast slab(20 mm×20 mm) from steelmaking plant. The test results were analyzed and verified through metallographic analysis. The result showed that this high frequency ultrasonic defect detector could be used in the laboratories for discriminating inclusions from pinholes and determining the distribution of their defects of the size greater than 30 μm with a 50 MHz probe.
