Abstract:
The acoustic emission signal excited on the simulated well bottom and transmitted through the well water was received by using a full wave acoustic emission signal analyzer, and the time domain analysis, frequency domain analysis and wavelet transform were used to analyse these waveforms of the AE signals. These simulated AE signals were also compared with the signals directly received by the AE signal analyzer. The results showed that the amplitude, ringdown count, and the total energy of the simulated AE signals decreased obviously through the well simulation system, but the duration times was relatively increased. The energy ratio of each decomposed level for two kinds of the AE signals was consistent after the wavelet transform.
