Abstract:
For the purpose of examining the construction quality of foundation piles used in continuous prestressed concrete girder bridges, evaluating the piles integrity and determining and treating the defects, this paper introduces the test process and application of transmission sonic wave method, which is known as one of the non-destructive testing method, into a certain airport elevated bridge punched cast-in-situ piles examination. Through testing and contrasting the date of elastic vertical waves speed, amplitude and frequency, supplemented with core drilling method to inspect some sediment defects, and doing the defects reason analyzing and treating, the piles quality was checked accurately and assured efficiently. This engineering case showed that the transmission sonic wave method had an obvious guiding effect in the quality examination and defect treatment of punched cast-in-situ piles.
