Abstract:
The supersonic non-destructive inspection principle is the same for rock and concretes, and this article attempted to use the mature ultrasonic wave non-destructive inspection method in the stone material quality determination. The experiment showed that supersonic examination technology usually used in non-isotropic concrete materials was suitable completely for the stone material non-destructive inspection. When using the statistical method to examine steles uniformity and to judge the steles flaw, the research data as the criterion of isotropic stone material internal quality should be stricter than that in the concretes. We suggest that it is better to judge with the marginal value of the sonic speed mean value being reduced by a time of standard deviation in order to avoid the leak of flaw. Generally speaking, unifies the supersonic head wave phase reverse phenomenon to calculate the depth of crack could enhance the examination precision.
