Abstract: American Standard was mostly utilized in the past project of COOEC, MOCK UP was the first project which was completed according to European Standard. This text makes the comparison between these two employed standards on ultrasonic testing aims to let the readers have a preliminary understanding about these two standards, including personnel qualification, sensitivity calibration, defect interpretation and acceptance. Meanwhile it offers the more visualized application reference for personals who may join the inspection work using American or European standard in the future.
