Reflection Type Infrared Image Testing of Defect in the C/C Composites

摘要: 为了找出C/C复合材料内部影响其热物理性能的缺陷,利用该材料的热传导性能特征,使用红外成像系统对有人工、自然缺陷的炭毡基C/C复合材料进行了检测。试验发现反射式红外成像可以检出炭毡基C/C复合材料内部的缺陷,其检测能力和材料的热性能相关,对较大人工缺陷,红外成像能检测更大埋深的缺陷;随着缺陷埋深的减少,红外成像的检测灵敏度变高,可以检出更小的缺陷。Abstract: In order to find out defects affecting the thermophysical properties within the C/C composites, the artificial and natural defects in carbon felt-based C/C composites were detected by infrared imaging system equipment, which used the thermal conductivity characteristics of C/C composites. The study found that the defects inside the felt-based C/C composites could be detected by the reflection infrared imaging method and the detection capabilities was relevant to the thermophysical properties of composites. Larger artificial defects could be detected by infrared imaging in a greater depth, where as the smaller artificial defects could be detected by infrared imaging with reduced depth of defect.
