Abstract: NDT is an important part of quality control for offshore facilities. The results determine the quality level and the security situation of offshore facilities which is the reason why both domestic and foreign companies attach high importance on NDT work. Most of the domestic NDT work is performed by the manufacturer subsidiary NDT company or other independent NDT company, but currently there is still no uniform accreditation regulations for NDT bodies, which makes the industry mixed, the NDT results not guaranteed, the genuine cause not accountable when accident occurs. This paper analyzed the current relevant regulations on NDT accreditation system, proposed the suggestion on accreditation requirements for NDT bodies through the industry characteristics and accreditation conditions in domestic, there was a positive meaning for unifying management.
