TOFD Technique Testing on Eccentric Flaws in Butt Weld Joints

摘要: 针对采用TOFD技术检测焊缝缺陷时, 缺陷偏离焊缝中心的技术难点, 先从理论上研究了TOFD检测声场的覆盖特点, 归纳了偏心缺陷对TOFD检测的影响。通过相关试验, 对比了非平行扫查以及平行扫查的TOFD检测结果, 得出可通过结合非平行扫查、平行扫查以及偏心非平行扫查的方法来确定偏心缺陷的结论。

Abstract: Aiming at the technical difficulties of time of flight diffraction(TOFD) testing on eccentric flaws in butt weld joints, the ultrasonic field was researched, and the impact of eccentric flaws to TOFD testing was concluded. Through the relevant experiments, the results of parallel scan and non-parallel scan were compared, and it concluded that the eccentric flaws could be determined by the method of the combination of non-parallel scan with parallel scan and eccentric non-parallel scan. -
