Abstract: The application of contrast intensify agent used in magnetic particle flaw detection is always subjected to certain practical constraints. By comparing the sample test results, the relationship between the thicknesses of sprayed layers, spraying speed, and distance, as well as the detection sensitivity were detailed and summarized. The results provided an empirical basis for promoting the use of contrast intensify agent in a production environment.
