Abstract: There exist quite many standards related with oil casing pipe nondestructive testing and involved with various categories. Firstly, according to API 5 CT casing and tubing norms, through sorting the nondestructive testing (NDT) methods oil casing production and acceptance standard level according to the steel sorts, the casing inspection and acceptance specification has been made clear. Secondly, according to the types of nondestructive testing (NDT) statistics of oil casing nondestructive testing standard at home and abroad, comparisons are made of the advantages and disadvantages of the various test methods.
