Abstract: For promoting steel ultrasonic testing capacity, TPM management concept was implemented and the key influence factors of steel ultrasonic testing ability were tackled in a plate /coil plant, with the automatic detection equipment characteristics and problems of production analyzed. Taking its ultrasonic testing for example, this paper mainly described the maintenance and improvement of ultrasonic testing equipment and the organization of ultrasonic testing production. It provided a reference for further promotion steel ultrasonic testing capability and product quality in the field of nondestructive testing.
