Abstract:
A FPGA-based acoustic emission detector was designed to detect acoustic signal brought about by the material deformation and fracture.Firstly, the detection signal from the sensor was amplified and gain was adjusted; Then analog to digital conversion for the modulated analog signal was implemented by 14 bit AD9226;When sampled value is greater than the set threshold,an acoustic emission event shall be triggered and data of 4-channel are acquired and stored in SDRAM;When an acoustic emission event is ended, the data will be transferred to the host computer by wireless communication, and then be analyzed, processed, displayed, and so on.
