Abstract: While inspecting the engine trap door head, the inspector discovered that there were quench cracks on some parts surface. In this paper, by analyzing the parts production process flow and by fluorescent inspection validation to tested parts with heat treatment, some applicable fluorescent process was proposed and the causes of cracks on parts surface were expounded to avoid unqualified parts installment in the following production.
