Abstract: Axial compressor is the key auxiliary machinery of blast furnace in smelting industry and its some parts must be tested regularly for safety running. According to practical condition, the axial compressor was tested by dye penetrant testing method, and the steps and key points of testing process were introduced in detail. The reliability of testing results was ensured.
