    基于GEANT4的工业CT微通道板探测器特性模拟

    The Characteristics Simulation of Industrial CT Microchannel Plate Detector Based on GEANT4 Toolkits

    • 摘要: 基于GEANT4工具包及使用225kV最高管电压X射线机,探讨了在不同的X射线入射能量下,改变微通道板工作电压及几何参数时,增益、探测效率及空间分辨率的特性变化情况,为实际应用提供了参考。结果表明:微孔直径20μm、长径比40、开口面积60%、偏角8°;工作电压970V,工作环境真空度10-3Pa时,微通道板探测器能满足工业CT系统的要求。

       

      Abstract: Based on the GEANT4 toolkit and an X ray machine whose maximum tube voltage was 225kV, the characteristic changes of the gain, the detection efficiency and also the spatial resolution of the Xray detector were studied through the working voltage and geometric parameters of the microchannel plate under different incident energies. It can provide a reference for practical application. Study confirms that the microchannel plate detector can meet the requirement of industrial CT system proving the following settings are met: the micro pore diameter of 20μm, length to diameter ratio of 40, the opening area of 60%, angle of 8°, working voltage of 970V and the working environment of vacuum degree 10-3Pa.
