Abstract:
Aiming at the problem of traditional guided wave detection signal processing method being not sensitive to tiny flaws and using the characteristics that axisymmetric guided waves will be converted to bend modal while meeting the asymmetric structure, we propose a new method. This method makes use of the different amplitudes and phases between different models, carries on the characteristic to the mixed data, classifies the data and then finally separates it of each mode. Finally, the finite element simulation is designed to verify the method. The results show that the guided wave of each mode of flexural vibration in echo signal can be separated out successfully. Also, the existence of microcrack and its axial position can be determined by using the separated data.
