Abstract: Lift is one kind of special equipments. Based on national requirements, lift is forced to be inspected, and most of the inspection items are nondestructive examination. The nondestructive testing(NDT) technique plays one of the most important roles for insuring manufacturing quality and transportation safety for lifts. Several kinds of NDT technique for lifts are introduced, including visual inspection, magnetic flux leakage testing, laser testing, electric current testing, velocity testing, acceleration testing, vibration testing, noise testing, and so on. The purposes of the techniques are also expressed.
