    涡流检测对比试样的作用

    The Effect of Eddy Current Testing Tubing Reference Specimens

    • 摘要: 阐述了涡流检测对比试样的作用,通过对比试验说明了试样中两种类型的人工缺陷(通孔和槽形)的优缺点和槽形人工缺陷相位信号与钢管制造过程中容易产生的表面缺陷信号更相似。在普遍采用通孔的情况下,建议在试样上加工槽形人工缺陷与通孔进行对比以提高检测质量。

       

      Abstract: This article described the functions of Eddy Current tubing reference specimens. The difference of two type artificial discontinuities (drilled hole and notch) was shown through a contrast experiment, and it was proven that notch discontinuities were better than drilled hole discontinuities during ET operation because the ET phase angle signal due to the former discontinuities was more similar with tube outside surface discontinuities. Now that drilled hole is used by many tube manufacturers, it is therefore suggested that the tubing reference specimens may be processed as two type artificial discontinuities(drilled hole and notch) in order to compare the phase signal of drilled hole and notch and enhance testing quality.
