Abstract:
For the application of gas pipeline leakage remote monitoring, this paper proposes a design of Gas Pipeline Leakage Remote Monitoring System which implements long-distance wireless communication between WSN nodes and control room by combining GPRS network with cluster-based wireless sensor network. In this design, wireless monitoring network consists of sensor nodes, sink nodes and concentrator nodes. The multi-level clustering routing protocol and the MAC protocol based on IEEE802.15.4 and RTC-based time synchronization are adapted to the system. The Gas Pipeline Leakage Remote Monitoring System is not only able to complete data acquisition correctly and stably, but also achieves the low power design goals.
