Abstract:
For two commonly used materials in armor, steel and aluminum alloy, an integrated non-destructive testing (NDT) system is designed to achieve NDT of armored structural defects using a combination of micro-magnetic and ultrasonic NDT technology. Wavelet analysis and neural networks signal processing algorithm is applied to enable the automatic classification of defect types, and improve the degree of intelligence and reliability of the results of the detection system. Complex programming of VC++ and Matlab was used to achieve a real-time acquisition and processing of test data to improve the detection efficiency. The system can be applied to mechanical structure defects in NDT of a variety of active weapons and equipment, which is to have a significant military and economic significance.
