Abstract: For the ultrasonic testing characteristics for weldline of oilfield water flooding pipeline, the selection methods and the sensitivity determination principles of instrument, probe and testing block were introduced, and the steps of ultrasonic testing for small diameter tube were described. The judgment methods of lack-welding, lack-fusion, crack and concavity were discussed and analyzed, and the correct decision method were proposed.
