    低合金钢厚板对接焊缝超声检测的偏差分析及验证

    Deviation analysis and verification of ultrasonic testing for butt welds of low alloy steel thick plates

    • 摘要: 在某工程低合金钢(材料为420qD)不等厚对接接头超声检测中,当探头放置在长削边的表面实施检测时,发现不同角度的探头检测同一缺陷时定位、定量差异较大。针对此问题,对探头在试块上的声速、延时、探头前沿和折射角参数进行测定,并进行声束扭曲验证试验。试验发现,在板厚方向上,由于钢板表面至钢板中心的晶粒大小存在差异,超声波的传播也会受到影响。因此在对低合金钢厚板及焊接接头横波检测前,应验证晶粒大小对探头声束性能的影响,必要时应制作相应的专用对比试块对检测结果进行修正。

       

      Abstract: In ultrasonic testing of unequal thickness butt joints of low-alloy steel (material 420qD) in a certain project, when the probe was placed on the surface of the long bevel for testing, significant differences in localization and quantification were found when probes at different angles detected the same defect. To address this issue, parameters such as sound velocity, delay, probe front distance, and refraction angle of the probe on the test block were measured, and beam distortion verification was conducted. The research found that in the plate thickness direction, due to differences in grain size from the steel plate surface to the center, ultrasonic wave propagation could also be affected. Therefore, before transverse wave testing of low-alloy steel thick plates and welded joints, the influence of grain size on probe beam performance should be verified, and if necessary, corresponding dedicated comparative test blocks should be fabricated to correct the testing results.
