Abstract:
The nondestructive testing system for steel wire ropes generally uses Hall sensors, but they are susceptible to temperature and electromagnetic interference. Aiming at this problem, this paper proposed a nondestructive testing system based on TMR array sensors combined with coil sensors, which could adapt to the low range of TMR and leverage its high sensitivity. This detection system could detect axial and circumferential damage to steel wire ropes, and calculated the cross-sectional loss of steel wire ropes by simulation analysis of steel wire rope models and magnetic leakage signal processing, achieving higher detection accuracy.
