Abstract: The current application and future trends of digital X-ray testing technology in nondestructive testing (NDT) for the nuclear industry were summarized. This paper discussed the progress of digital X-ray testing technology at home and abroad, compared the performance indicators of film digitization, computed radiography (CR), and digital radiography (DR). By integrating typical cases in the inspection of nuclear fuel, nuclear power facilities, and special nuclear material monitoring, this paper analyzed the technical advantages, challenges and future trends of digital X-ray testing technology in NDT for the nuclear industry.
