Abstract:
Radiographic imaging detection can effectively inspect the internal structure of objects in a nondestructive manner and is widely used in medical diagnosis and industrial nondestructive testing. In practical operation, observing images with the human eye is often inefficient and makes it difficult to identify fine structures; moreover, the generated images have problems such as noise and artifacts, making it impossible to accurately identify the internal structure of objects through images. So, how to reconstruct images that meet requirements and identify internal structures with high efficiency and accuracy is a challenge faced by researchers. With the continuous development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the application of AI in radiation imaging is gradually changing traditional image processing and analysis methods. The advantages of AI in image recognition and data analysis can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of radiation imaging technology applications. The technical difficulties faced by image reconstruction and image analysis were analyzed, the specific applications of existing AI in this field were deeply discussed, and the methods of its application in CT images and the current problems that AI needs to solve in this field were summarized.
