Abstract: Unit 4 of Langyashan pumped storage power station has been operating for 16 years,the stress condition of the pipeline was evaluated through corrosion detection, nondestructive testing, stress testing, and finite element calculation,the results showed that the overall corrosion degree of the steel pipe was evaluated as general corrosion, and no excessive defects or crack defects were found inside the weld seam. The measured equivalent stress was less than the corresponding resistance limit,combined with the management and key operational elements survey requirements of the operation and maintenance unit, a comprehensive safety assessment of the pressure steel pipe was conducted to provide reference for the safety inspection and evaluation of the pumped storage pressure steel pipe.
