Ultrasonic testing and evaluation of porosity of carbon fiber composites

  • 摘要: 从检测实践的角度,简评了碳纤维复合材料层压板孔隙率超声检测的原理和方法。具体介绍了碳纤维复合材料层压板孔隙率超声波穿透法C扫描检测评价的方法,包括孔隙率标准试块的制作认定,孔隙率厚度衰减曲线的制作,孔隙率评定阈值的确定,孔隙率评定注意事项以及检测应用效果。对碳纤维复合材料层压板孔隙率超声波穿透法C扫描检测与评价作了总结,结果表明,以孔隙率标准试块为基准的超声穿透法C扫描检测可实现对碳纤维复合材料层压板2%孔隙率生产线的监控和评价,满足工程规范要求。
    Abstract: In this paper, the ultrasonic testing principle and techniques of porosity of carbon fiber composite laminates was briefly reviewed from the perspective of testing practice. The technique of ultrasonic through transmission C-scan for porosity testing and evaluation of carbon fiber composite laminates was introduced in detail, including the determination of porosity standard test blocks, the preparation of porosity thickness attenuation curve, the determination of porosity evaluation threshold, the matters for attention in porosity evaluation, and the application effect of testing. Ultrasonic through transmission c-scan testing and evaluation of porosity of carbon fiber composite laminates were summarized and discussed. It was proved that the ultrasonic through transmission C-scan technique based on the porosity standard test blocks can realize the production line monitoring and evaluation for the 2% porosity of carbon fiber composite laminates, and can meet the requirements of engineering specifications.
