Abstract:
Based on the principles of acoustoelastic principle and Hooke's law, the axial stress measurement formulas for bolts using longitudinal wave method and transverse longitudinal wave method were derived. The sensitivity differences between longitudinal wave method and transverse longitudinal wave method to temperature changes were explored, and a transverse longitudinal wave temperature correction model was derived. The accuracy of the model was verified through experiments. The research shows that the transverse and longitudinal wave method is less affected by temperature than the longitudinal wave method, and the sensitivity of the longitudinal wave method to temperature changes is about twice that of the transverse and longitudinal wave method.
