Phased array ultrasonic testing parameters of oblique defects in steel tubes

  • 摘要: 以相控阵探头检测钢管的斜向缺陷为例,对斜向缺陷定义、相控阵探头的技术特点以及相控阵探头检测斜向内部缺陷、外部缺陷的适应性等主要参数进行分析,建立相应模型并加工了样管进行斜向缺陷检测试验。试验结果表明,对于通用的无缝管(直径厚度之比大于5),可采用相控阵探头偏置法对斜向内外缺陷进行检测。该结论可为钢管斜向缺陷检测工艺中相控阵探头的设计、选用等提供一定理论依据,也可为其他类似相控阵探头的设计、选用提供借鉴。
    Abstract: Taking the oblique defect of steel pipe detected by phased array probe as an example, the definition of oblique defect, the technical characteristics of phased array probe and the adaptability of phased array probe to detect oblique internal defect and external defect were analyzed, the corresponding model was established and the pipe sample was manufactured for oblique defect detection test. The experimental results show that the phased-array probe bias method can be used to detect the oblique internal and external defects of the general seamless pipe (the ratio of diameter to thickness is greater than 5). This conclusion can provide some theoretical basis for the design and selection of phased array probe in the steel tube oblique defect detection process, and can also provide reference for the design and selection of other similar phased array probes.
