Abstract:
There are many technological parameters that affect the image quality of cone-beam CT, so it is necessary to systematically study the influence of each technological parameter on the image quality of CT, so as to obtain better cone beam CT imaging effect. In this paper, the effects of process parameters such as tube voltage and tube current, focus size, sample geometry, projection number, integration time and binning mode on CT image of the METROMTOM 1500 microfocus cone-beam CT system of German Carl Zeiss were investigated in detail. The results demonstrate that the best image resolution can be obtained when the tube voltage and tube current can be adjusted to enable the focal size and voxel size to be close to each other under the condition of sufficient tube voltage. Meanwhile, the image clarity can be significantly improved by reducing the source-to-object distance, the interference noise can be significantly reduced by increasing the number of projections, and the image detail resolution can be increased by high binning mode. In addition, the impact of integration time on image quality is not obvious.
