Abstract:
Based on the monitoring technologies of high temperature stress, acoustic emission, inclination and temperature, the structural health monitoring system of coke tower was designed and developed, which including sensing subsystem, data acquisition and transmission subsystem and software subsystem. The developed monitoring system was tested and verified on the coke tower of a petrochemical company. It was proved that the monitoring system could realize the real-time on-line monitoring of acoustic emission, inclination and temperature in the key areas of a coke tower with good reliability and stability, and it also could meet the engineering requirements of on-line monitoring of key parameters of a coke tower.
