Microwave nondestructive quantitative detection of cavities in soil around buried PE pipeline

摘要: 聚焦于埋地PE (聚乙烯)管线外部土壤空穴的无损定量检测,分析了PE管道内检式微波检测方法。搭建了试验平台,结合多频段微波检测探头,进一步证实内检式微波检测方法及所提检测信号特征、定量评估算法等在埋地PE管线外部土壤空穴无损定量检测中的有效性。Abstract: In this paper, the bobbin-typed microwave nondestructive evaluation(NDE) for localization and assessment of soil cavity around buried PE(polyethylene) pipeline is intensively investigated. A system of the bobbin-typed microwave NDE is built up. The applicability of the proposed NDE technique together with the signal features and assessment algorithms for soil cavity around buried PE pipeline is further affirmed via experiments with testing probes in different microwave bands.
