Abstract:
Aiming at the common incomplete penetration defects in the periodic inspection of pressure pipeline, the relevant provisions and research status of incomplete penetration depth detection in domestic and foreign standards are analyzed, and an incomplete penetration depth detection method based on DR (digital radiography) technology is proposed and used to detect three simulation specimens, such as stepped test block, pipes with grooves on the inner wall and on the outer wall. The maximum deviation of the measured depth is 10.0%. The results show that DR technology can realize the quantitative detection of incomplete penetration depth, which lays a foundation for the safety rating of industrial pipelines.
