Abstract:
This article aims to find the source of material damage under fatigue load through acoustic emission linear positioning technology. The main task is to carry out fatigue damage test on 08AL aluminum small plate structure under fatigue loading. The acoustic emission sensor installed on the sample obtains the delay time of the acoustic emission signal propagating through the sample. After receiving the delay data of the acoustic emission signal caused by the damage, the linear source location algorithm is used to identify the location of the crack, and the lead breaking test is used to verify the accuracy of the applied algorithm and to find the failure location for the the 08AL aluminum small plate under the fatigue load. The test results show that the acoustic emission linear seismic source location algorithm can clearly and effectively identify the source of structural damage.
