Abstract: A-type test block is widely used in penetrant testing. It can be used to test the quality of penetrant testing agents, compare the advantages and disadvantages of two penetrant testing agents, and to identify penetrant testing methods at non-standard temperatures. The article introduces the production and quality control of A-type test block for penetrant testing, which includes controllable non-uniform heating device and non-uniform cooling device.
