Evaluation of dye penetrant testing for chromium plating of CRDM latch assembly

  • 摘要: 核电站控制棒驱动机构(CRDM)中钩爪部件的关键配合面采用镀铬处理,镀铬层着色渗透检测的难点是较难精确评定着色渗透检测所发现的粉红色显示的类型及严重程度。结合不同检测条件对着色渗透检测的影响,分析总结了各类粉红色显示的差异,排除了“未充分清洗”造成粉红色显示的可能。
    Abstract: The key mating surfaces of the latch assembly in the control rod drive mechanism (CRDM) of nuclear power plant are chrome-plated. The difficulty with this chromium plating inspection is that it is difficult to accurately evaluate the type and severity of the pink indication found in the dye penetrant testing. Based on the influence of different inspection conditions of dye penetrant testing, this paper analyzes and summarizes the differences of various pink indications, and excludes the possibility of pink indication caused by “insufficient cleaning”.
