Ultrasonic TOFD testing of corrosion defects on the inner wall of long-distance pipelines

摘要: 对某公司长输管道内壁腐蚀缺陷进行超声波衍射时差法(TOFD)检测仿真分析,采用能源部标准推荐的焊缝检测工艺参数进行声场及缺陷响应仿真分析,得到初步检测工艺,在实际工程中应用该检测工艺进行检测,并与常规超声检测结果进行比对分析。结果表明,TOFD检测结果与常规超声检测结果基本一致,且检测结果直观,给长输管道内壁腐蚀缺陷的检测提供了一种有效的检测方法。Abstract: In this paper, the ultrasonic time of flight diffraction (TOFD) detection simulation analysis of corrosion defects on the inner wall of a long-distance pipeline is carried out. The sound field and defect response simulation analysis are carried out by using the standard recommended weld detection process parameters, and the preliminary detection process is obtained. The detection process is tested in the actual project, and the results are compared with the conventional ultrasonic detection results. As shown by the verification experiment, the TOFD test results are basically consistent with the conventional ultrasonic test results, and the test results are intuitive, which provides an effective detection technology for long-distance pipeline inner wall corrosion defect detection.
