Application of water magnetic suspension in winter outdoor magnetic particle testing

  • 摘要: 针对在国内北方地区冬季气温达到-20℃左右的室外进行湿法磁粉检测时,常规水磁悬液易结冰的问题,提出了利用含有乙二醇的冬季用玻璃水为载体制作水磁悬液的方法。验证试验结果表明,这种载体的各项性能指标均符合相关要求,按标准配置成的水磁悬液的检测灵敏度满足要求。
    Abstract: Current research is aiming to solve the problem that conventional hydromagnetic suspensions are easy to freeze due to the low temperature of about -20 ℃ when performing wet magnetic particle testing outdoors in winter in the northern part of the country. A method of making water magnetic suspension by using the glass cleaning liquid containing ethylene glycol as carrier in winter is proposed. Through the test, it is confirmed that the performance indexes of the carrier meet the relevant requirements, and the detection sensitivity of the water magnetic suspension prepared according to the standard meets the requirements.
